How we work with you

We support communities - and the organisations who work alongside them - to take on, manage, and make good use of land and local assets.

For communities who want to shape their place

You know your place better than anyone - its strengths, its challenges, and the ideas that could make life better for the people who live there. Whether you’re a small grassroots group taking early steps, or an established community organisation planning your next phase, you’re driven by the same thing: creating lasting, local benefit.

We work alongside communities like yours to turn good ideas into steady, practical action. Together, we help shape projects that strengthen local identity, improve everyday life, and build resilience for the long term.

You might be:

  • an informal or emerging group exploring a piece of land or a building

  • a Community Interest Company (CIC)

  • a Community Benefit Society

  • a charity or voluntary organisation

  • a co-operative

  • or any other asset-locked or community-anchored group

Wherever you’re starting from, we meet you there - offering grounded support to help your project move forward with clarity and confidence.

For funders & commissioners who want to support strong, community-led projects

Asset owners and environmental organisations exploring community-anchored ways of working

You invest in places, people, and ideas that matter. Whether you’re strengthening local resilience, supporting community enterprise, or enabling groups to take on land and assets, you want your funding to create outcomes that are meaningful, visible, and long-lasting.

We work with funders and commissioners who want a clear, grounded understanding of what communities need — and what will help them succeed. From shaping programmes to delivering support on your behalf, we offer practical insight, steady facilitation, and transparent reporting that helps your investment make a real difference.

You might be:

  • a charitable foundation

  • a local authority team commissioning community support

  • a social investor or impact-focused organisation

  • another funder seeking to back community-led projects with confidence

Wherever your priorities lie, we help you support communities in ways that are fair, realistic, and rooted in place.

You own or care for land or buildings, you hold a relationship with those places that has usually grown over many years. You may now be exploring what comes next: how these spaces can continue to serve people and place, how responsibility might be shared, or how communities might play a meaningful role in their future.

We work with land and asset owners who want to approach this thoughtfully and transparently. Whether you’re exploring community-led stewardship, refreshing existing arrangements, developing a new site, or planning for a longer-term transition, we offer steady, practical support to help you navigate each step with clarity.

You might be:

  • a private land or asset owner

  • a local authority or estates team

  • a national or local body with land or environmental responsibilities

  • or another organisation exploring community-anchored stewardship or partnership models

Wherever you are in your thinking, we help you explore possibilities with openness, practicality and care.
